Garrick wasn't too disappointed about missing his first game today due to the torrential rain we had this morning because he got to spend the night over at his friends house. I guess it was a good thing that the game was canceled because we didn't even have his uniform yet. It has been a struggle getting him back on the playing field after a long summer and hardly working out. But once we got there he didn't want to leave. So next weekend will be busy because he will have two games to play on Saturday. I hope this season he can break out of his shell and not be afraid of the ball when it's thrown at him. I guess it takes practice and modeling for him. He doesn't watch baseball so he can only watch me. I never played baseball so I have no idea what fundamentals would be good for him. I just try to give him reps at throwing and catching and hitting and hope the rest comes from experience.
